Headed down to Emerald Isle today for our annual winter beach vacation. The plan is to (a) go to the Gloucester Mardi Gras tomorrow, and (b) go out for a post-Valentine’s dinner at the Crab Claw on Sunday night. Already went for a sunset walk on the beach; I’m sure more of them will follow.
Idiot here remembered her green velvet cape to wear at the mardi gras, but forgot a bring a coat. It was easy to forget since it got into the 70s today. I suppose I wear the cape as my coat the rest of the trip, if I want to look all Meryl Streep in The French Lieutenant’s Woman comes to Beaufort-ish.
