Rumour has it that Citigroup is going forward with the $400 million stadium sponsorship deal for the Mets, which I guess they figure is just a drop in the bucket compared to the $36.5 billion in tax money they’ll be receiving.

I have an idea. Use that $400 million to buy Mets tickets for out-of-work parents and their kids. Treat them to hot dogs and crackerjack. Do that with at least $300 million. You can use the last 25% of the budget for P.R. to let people know that you actually did something good for someone.

And while your at it, could you lower the rate on my credit card? Who knows, I might use it for things other than Christmas and plane tickets.
