What a waste

At the MOMA store, you can get a “charming” necklace cast in sterling silver and “hand-etched by artisans in Kathmandu”…that resembles a crumbled-up taxicab receipt. According to I.D. Magazine, this is a statement encouraging us “to be diligent and not allow personal resources to go to waste. Apparently this $250 trinket is supposed to remind us not to waste oil.

How about wasting silver? Or money?
