This could be the cure for my inability to get up as early as I’d like. Especially if I had about three of them at various distances from the bed. Unfortunately, my sleeping-in-and-proud-of-it husband would probably divorce me.
Although it might be worth it just to drive the cat mad.

I have a feeling I’d sleep through that one like every other clock I’ve ever slept through. But, as you point out, I’d feel compelled to set up a cam for the guaranteed feline spazzfest. Fab.

Hmm, makes one think. Would I hate it, or would I love it. You could make a case for either. Also worth consideration: In what ways does it differ from a rooster?

I’ve lived near roosters. They crow all. night. long. All night long. Did I mention, all night long? That rooster crowing at dawn thing…it’s just a myth perpetrated by people who could sleep through anything and the first sound they hear in the morning is the rooster who was crowing while they slept.
Then again, maybe my neighbor’s roosters were being kept awake by the neighbor’s dogs, who barked all night long.
