After a brief but dramatic squall around 11pm last night, we were awakened in the early hours by thunder, lightning, pouring rain and pounding surf. The waves have been quite dramatic, sometimes 5 or 6 deep…and our noble earth-mover continued pushing sand around even as waves crashed around the bulldozer.

No storms!! Here’s a thought: at 8pm PST tonight, it will be exactly 13 years since you attended my wedding. So no talk of stormage…only of superdy-duperous love stories and shit, m’kay?

Happy anniversary to you and Chris! Yes, i remember your wedding well. What was the recessional music again? It was fun.
I was counting on a day of bad weather to drag Barry to the aquarium, which I did, so I was happy for the storms.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers version of Higher Ground was our recessional music. Wish I could live that day over again now that I’m almost a grownup. LOL
