Don’t ask me what convoluted surf path I followed to stumble across this…but the Mohonk Mountain House, outside of my old stomping ground of New Paltz, NY, is #3 on a list of “World’s Best Party Spots” on a blog by the name of GlamChic, which is the kind of site that gets all fluttery about parties frequented by surly anorexics that look like they’re having a dreadful time.

God, I hope they don’t come down the hill and mix with the unreconstructed hippies…it could get ugly.
