I was on the website sfgate.com, which is the web arm of the San Francisco Chronicle. Imagine my surprise at seeing this headline in the “Most Read” column:
Boxer Declared Brain Dead
Since Barbara Boxer is senator of California, from where sfgate.com originates, I wasn’t sure if they were being snarky or if something else was going on (I could see Bill O’Reilly declaring Boxer brain dead, but not my beloved Chonicle). Turns out it was an AP story about a Korean pugilist.
Context is everything.
