Golly, did I have 2 weeks of vacation recently? And didn’t something significant happen while I was gone? Or did I imagine the whole thing?

Nope, that really is a gold ring on my finger. And Mr. Dependable’s already posted one of the, um, unusual sites from our trip.

But now it’s been back to the ever-exciting, all-absorbing and anxiety-laden task of running a business, interspersed with other exciting activities, like trying to keep the household clutter at bay, locking the yowling cat in the garage, voting in a municipal primary, and trying to figure out why the check I mailed to my bank 3 weeks ago still hasn’t shown up in my account. You know, life.

Thanks goodness we had a power outage the other night or I might have completely forgotten what that whole honeymoon thing was about.
