Well, afternoon, actually.

Spent quite a few hours in the Wilmington airport today, but gathered together my 5 folks and were back at the house by 3:30pm. Barry cooked up a huge meal, partially in anticipation of other travelers who have yet to arrive. It won’t go to waste–we have a few people coming over in the morning. And a cake. The one hitch of the day, besides a delayed flight from Atlanta, was that the rental place that has our 17 chairs was closed. Oh well–it’s a short ceremony, and who sits in a chair on the beach anyway?

Kelly & Bruce have already gone to catch up on sleep after the redeye from SF…we’ve got Scrabble and football going, and two more arrivals awaited. Time for me to grab a nightcap, sit and the rocking chair and kick back for the remainder of the evening.
