Got so distracted by Our Big Day in Wilmington that I forgot last night’s countdown! Did a lot of driving about the town in the afternoon, and bought so many flowers we were a little worried about fitting everything in the car. Had a nice dinner at a restaurant near the waterfront called Circa 1922, recommended to us by a fellow named Douglas that we met earlier this month at Flint Hill Vineyards. The airport pickup was uneventful, just the way I like them. Woke up to evidence of rain during the night, but the Saturday forecast is still 10% chance of rain and a lovely 78 degrees.
