Another lovely day in Paradise. Swimming in the morning, a walk to the general store for ice cream in the early afternoon, and kayaking on the intracoastal water in the late afternoon. I called the rental agency on the off chance that they had an unrented property on one of the canals, and lo and behold, they do, and were happy to allow me to dock my kayak there. So I can pop it into the water without the bother of loading/unloading the van each time.
After a morning at the beach tomorrow, we’re off to Wilmington for the afternoon, dinner, and then to the airport to pick up our first house guest, Barry’s mom.
Forecast for Saturday is holding at 77 degrees and 10% chance of rain.

I’m a little nervous that you have your dates screwed up!!! Today is the 25th, which means tomorrow, the 26th, is when my mom gets there. And please, whatever you do, don’t leave us stranded at the airport on Friday, the 28th!!!!! That’s ok, you’re entitled - I’ll chalk it up to “soon-to-be-mrs. dependable jitters!!”

Nope, the dates are OK…picking up your mom today, and you on Friday…when I wrote “tomorrow” it was yesterday.
Also, I’m counting down following the 10-day forecast, which means Saturday is “1″ not “zero.” I want it to be a #1 day, not a zero day.
