After a busy morning of packing, and several hours of driving, we made it to the beach house around 2pm. It’s a beautiful house–not on the beach proper, but one row back, but you can see the ocean from the 3rd floor. There’s an elevator for the Moms, and a hot tub out back. 5 bedrooms, gas fireplace, 2 decks out front. Got the iTunes hooked up to the stereo and the bar and refrigerator stocked. Should be a nice place for a party AND for two weeks of kicking back.

We took a short beach walk after sunset; our time in the hot tub was curtailed by approaching lightning.
